Aviation Legislation Course equips participants with the basic knowledge of the structures of rules, the role of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the national authorities (Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. It gives an introduction to the Basic Regulation (Commission Regulation (EC) No 1592/2002) and provides basic knowledge about the Implementing Rules (Commission Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003) with the corresponding Annexes Part-M, Part-145, Part-66, Part-147 and Part-21. It also presents an overview of the certification specifications (CS) and the joint aviation requirements for aircraft operation for commercial air transportation (aeroplanes).
